MANILA, Philippines – Original Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) officer-in-charge Rafael Ragos surrendered to the Country wide Bureau of Research (NBI) before noon on Weekend, a Office of Justice (DOJ) public confirmed.

“Confirmed (ex -) NBI Deputy Director Ragos with NBI according to NBI Director Dante Gierran in a telephone call,” Undersecretary Erickson Balmes said in a note delivered to the reporters within the DOJ.

Ragos, also a original NBI deputy director, surfaced after mailing surrender feelers to the DOJ and the Philippine Country wide Police. The specialists have been looking forward to him since Fri.

He reportedly surrendered to Deputy Director for Cleverness Sixto Burgos.

Apart from Sen. Leila de Lima and her previous driver and partner Ronnie Dayan, Ragos is roofed in the arrest warrant released by Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Courtroom (RTC) Branch 204 Professional Judge Juanita Guerrero.

Muntinlupa RTC Branch 204 is handling Felony Circumstance No. 17-165 which specifically recharged De Lima, Dayan and Ragos for violation of Section 5 with regards to Section 3, Section 26 (b) and Section 28 or the legal liability of authorities officials and employees under the Republic Take action 9165 (RA 9165) or the In depth Dangerous Drugs Take action of 2002.

Since no court is on the market, the NBI will come back the warrant to the Muntinlupa court.

In the mean time, Ragos’ co-accused, De Lima, was detained at the Philippine National Law enforcement (PNP) Custodial Middle in Camp Crame.

The girl senator on Friday appeared prior to the Muntinlupa RTC Branch 204 for the return of the arrest warrant.

“The Court sees sufficient possible cause for Violation of In depth Dangerous Drug Take action of 2002, Sec. 5 in rel. to Sec. 3, Sec.26 & Sec. 28 of R.A. No. 9165 (Unlawful Medication Trading). Wherefore, accused Leila M. De Lima is purchased focused on the Custodial Service Device in Camp Crame, Quezon City,” the order read.

Dayan was put in the custody of the Muntinlupa City Prison.
